Universal Constraint for Relaxation Rates for Quantum Dynamical Semigroup

چکیده

A general property of relaxation rates in open quantum systems is discussed. We find an interesting constraint for that universally holds fairly large classes dynamics, e.g., weak coupling regimes, as well entropy nondecreasing evolutions. conjecture this universal, i.e., it valid all dynamical semigroups. The supported by numerical analysis. Moreover, we show the conjectured tight providing a concrete model saturates bound. This universality marks essential step toward physical characterization complete positivity directly verifiable experiments. It provides, therefore, manifestation positivity. Our also has two important implications: provides (i) universal spectra channels and (ii) necessary condition to decide whether given channel consistent with Markovian evolution.

The Index of a Quantum Dynamical Semigroup

A numerical index is introduced for semigroups of completely positive maps of B(H) which generalizes the index of E0-semigroups. It is shown that the index of a unital completely positive semigroup agrees with the index of its dilation to an E0-semigroup, provided that the dilation is minimal. Introduction. We introduce a numerical index for semigroups P = {Pt : t ≥ 0} of normal completely posi...

Jones index of a quantum dynamical semigroup

In this paper we consider a completely positive map τ = (τ t , t ≥ 0) with a faithful normal invariant state φ on a type-II 1 factor A 0 and propose an index theory. We achieve this via a more general Kolmogorov's type of construction for stationary Markov processes which naturally associate a nested isomorphic von-Neumann algebras. In particular this construction generalizes well known Jones c...

The Lagrangian Relaxation Method for the Shortest Path Problem Considering Transportation Plans and Budgetary Constraint

In this paper, a constrained shortest path problem (CSP) in a network is investigated, in which some special plans for each link with corresponding pre-determined costs as well as reduction values in the link travel time are considered. The purpose is to find a path and selecting the best plans on its links, to improve the travel time as most as possible, while the costs of conducting plans do ...

Module contractibility for semigroup algebras

In this paper, we nd the relationships between module contractibility of aBanach algebra and its ideals. We also prove that module contractibility ofa Banach algebra is equivalent to module contractibility of its module uniti-zation. Finally, we show that when a maximal group homomorphic image ofan inverse semigroup S with the set of idempotents E is nite, the moduleprojective tensor product l1...
